Sad news

Dear members 

I’m sorry to inform you all that Alan Bellingham passed away. 

Alan passd away in he’s sleep peacefully last week.

Alan served as our chairman and vice president for many years where I had the pleasure of working alongside him. He taught me a lot about the club. He said you must enjoy life and always stay positive.  Because you never know what’s round the corner.

Alan was a great asset to the club, he was Fully commitment to its members and the club, he will be sadly missed by all of us. 

Alison and family please accept  our heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Funeral announcement for alan.

We wanted to let everyone know  that Dad’s that dad’s funeral will be held on the 15th July at 11.15am at penterbychan crematorium, Wrexham. 

 following service, will be gathering for the wake at the comrades club Ellesmere, and all are welcome to join us in remembering him i’m celebrating his life.

He also asked that people don’t have to wear suits book come in smart clothes a respectful look, but not too formal.

Dad kindly requested that’s all donations be made to prostate cancer research uk. a cause close to his heart.

Finally,  thank you all for your kind words and support during this time.

I’m sorry to inform you all that john gregory passed away.

John had been a member of the club for quite a few years.

 

We have a request to all members from john son.

I can’t remember the name of John’s friend’s but the name simon rings a bell. If you knew john you can contact me on . 07497822787. The date of the funeral is this friday. The 18th July at 10.30 at Dukinfield crematorium. The address is Hall green road sk16 4ep

Crosemere 

There is no driving down the field at crosemere this year.

You need to walk around the edge of the field to access crosemere,  the field has been replanted with a crop.

Bacteria infection in Cheshire

Due to a lot of infections in waters in and around the areas of shropshire / cheshire. We have introduced a dip for your net  unhooking matt and weigh sling. We and need to keep these infections out of our waters.

If you are caught not dipping your net or unhooking matt you will be asked to leave.     lets keep our  fish safe 

This is something you could consider it buying to help protect your fish .
